I have been working on Salesforce Application for a long time now and have been training many students from non-tech backgrounds on Salesforce Application. I am amazed at how quickly students can understand the business flows due to its intuitive UX/UI. No wonder it is the most trusted and loved CRM solution used by thousands of businesses across the world.

In this post, I am going to give a quick intro to Salesforce Application.

Salesforce CRM Application:

Salesforce is a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application or a tool that helps businesses manage their sales, marketing, campaigns, customer data and so much more. It is a tool that gives a complete view of their customers. Like the number of customers who are interested in a particular product, daily sales volume for a product, the region that is making more sales, which sales rep has closed most deals, which marketing campaign is most successful., etc.

Let’s understand with an example:

There is a Real Estate company, that leases to students by room. The company currently has 2 properties and rents to 4 students and collects the rent. They manage all their expenses, collections, and student leads information in Excel and manage their conversations with the students via email.

In 5 years, the company has grown and has 10 properties across the state, leasing to 50 students. They bought an application to manage their expenses and collections, another application to manage their property information, and a tool to gather and address students’ issues.

In a few years, they bought 10 more properties, a total of 22 properties across the country leasing to 100+ students. With the various tools they manage, the management has no single place to gather all the information about leads, student contact, student grievances, property information etc.
